Last updated: October 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Scarlet Advertising ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you visit scarletadvertising.com (the "Site"), apply for a free consultation, or receive messages from us. Scarlet Advertising is a business name of Edgar Buelna, a sole proprietor based in San Diego, California.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you apply or book a consultation, we collect:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your answers to our application questions, such as your type of business, monthly revenue range, and how you currently get clients
- The date, time, and time zone of the consultation you book
- Anything you send us by email, text, or during a consultation
Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect:
- Your IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit

- Cookies and similar identifiers set by the Meta Pixel, described below
How we use your information

- To send confirmations, reminders, and follow-up messages about your consultation by email and text message
- To respond to your questions and provide our services if you become a client
- To measure and improve our advertising, including which ads lead to applications and bookings
- To protect the Site from spam and misuse, and to meet legal obligations
Text messages (SMS)
If you provide your phone number, we may send you text messages about your application and consultation, such as confirmations, reminders, and rescheduling links. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. The information-sharing categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent.
Cookies and the Meta Pixel
The Site uses the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API, tools provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. They tell us when someone who saw or clicked one of our ads visits the Site, applies, or books a consultation, so we can measure and improve our ads. To match these events, we send Meta limited information, including your IP address, browser details, cookie identifiers, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your email address, phone number, and name. Meta may use this information as described in its own privacy policy.
You can control ad personalization in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not stop you from using the Site.
Who we share information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for them to do that work:
- HighLevel (GoHighLevel), which stores contact information, manages our calendar, and sends our emails and text messages
- Meta Platforms, Inc., for advertising measurement as described above
- Vimeo, which hosts and plays the videos on the Site
- Vercel, which hosts the Site
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.
How long we keep information
We keep your information for as long as needed to schedule and hold your consultation, provide services if you become a client, and meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete it at any time, as described below.
Your choices and rights
- Emails: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Texts: reply STOP.
- Access, correction, or deletion: email admin@scarletadvertising.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
California residents may have additional rights under California law, including the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, which may include our use of the Meta Pixel. To make a request, email admin@scarletadvertising.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site and our services are intended for business owners and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
